PAYMENT & CUSTOMER ASSURANCE POLICY
At Elite & Famous Marketplace, we operate a transparent, structured, and secure order process.
Payment options and delivery terms vary by product category to ensure smooth fulfillment, accountability, and nationwide service reliability.
1. MEN’S SHOES (PAY ON DELIVERY – SELECTED ITEMS ONLY)
Pay on Delivery (POD) is available only for selected Men’s Shoes.
Where POD applies:
- Customers may inspect the item before payment
- POD availability is subject to location and logistics coverage
- Applicable delivery fees apply
Important POD Notice
- For POD orders outside Lagos, customers are required to pay the delivery (waybill) fee upfront into our official company account before order processing
- Customers within Lagos are exempt from upfront waybill payment
- This requirement confirms order commitment and helps reduce failed or rejected deliveries
Availability Requirement for POD Orders
Pay on Delivery orders are processed only for customers who can pick up their orders within 24 hours of arrival at the designated pickup point or have a trusted representative to receive on their behalf.
Customers who are unsure of their availability are advised not to place a POD order yet until they are available.
Customers placing POD orders are expected to:
- Be reachable and responsive during delivery coordination
- Pick up promptly or arrange a representative where necessary
- Inspect the item and complete payment upon confirmation
- Avoid unnecessary delays that may disrupt logistics operations
Orders not picked up within the stated period may be returned in line with our delivery and return procedures.
2. LADIES’ SHOES, KIDS’ SHOES & ALL OTHER PRODUCTS (PREPAID ONLY)
All Ladies’ Shoes, Kids’ Shoes, accessories, electronics, household items, and third-party products require full payment before delivery.
Pay on Delivery is not available for these categories nationwide due to:
- Stock sourcing structure
- Demand management
- Supplier and logistics constraints
Orders in these categories are processed only after payment confirmation.
3. CUSTOMER ASSURANCE & ORDER GUARANTEE
Customer trust and order accuracy are a priority at Elite & Famous Marketplace.
To ensure this:
- All orders (prepaid or POD) are confirmed via WhatsApp before processing
- Product details (size, color, model, specifications) are verified prior to dispatch
- Items are inspected before shipment to match confirmed order details
- We do not ship unconfirmed orders
In the rare event of an issue caused by us, appropriate resolution will be provided strictly in line with our published policies.
4. OFFICIAL PAYMENTS & TRANSACTION SECURITY
- All payments are made only to our official company account
- We do not accept payments into personal or staff accounts
